Death Grips — Jenny Death
One of the most enigmatic (and fan frustrating) groups working in music today, Death Grips is also one of, if not, THE best acts to come onto the scene in the last ten or so years. Pure brilliance.

Dead Boys — Young Loud and Snotty
Pearl Jam did a cover of "Sonic Reducer." I don't know if that makes Pearl Jam hip, or the Dead Boys trite. Maybe there's a middle ground there somewhere.
Propaghandi — Less Talk, More Rock
Socio-political punk from Canada with all manner of talk about how much "the Man" sucks. I'm not exactly sure who "the Man" is in Canada, but if he's doling out free health care, he can't be all that bad.
Misfits — Walk Among Us
High priest of horror business, Glenn Danzig, turned the punk scene on its ear by mixing poppy hooks with some of the most politically incorrect lyrics you'll ever hear. Not the most technically proficient group in the annals of music history, but goddamn did they make some catchy fuckin' tunes.
